New RV Camping Sites
Throughout the past year, we have opened a whole new section of sites, including new site types!
Wine Row is our newest row of campsites, along the property line we share with the neighboring vineyard! As a result, you can enjoy the easy listening ambiance of live music that drifts over to our Wine Row guests. This row also features our most spacious driving lane, and it’s the far back edge of the campground, so traffic is light. All of this adds up to a great area for kids who love riding bikes and pedal carts! RV sites 94-106 are considered Wine Row along the fence. They are across from sites 83-93, which share the driving lane.
Creekside Buddy Sites are an incredible way to stay with your camping friends! RV sites 107-116 alternate back-in and pull-in, so you and your friends can have your front doors face each other with adjoining front yards! Each site still has it’s own picnic table and fire ring. These sites have the best access to our gorgeous section of Grape Creek and the creekside meadow. These sites can be booked individually! If you want to book with a buddy, they are in the following pairs: 107+108, 109+110, 111+112, 113+114, and 115+116. Sites 108, 110, 112, 114, and 116 must be motorhomes, as they are pull-in RV sites. For buddies that don’t have motorhomes, our existing buddy sites (31+32) are suitable for all RV types!
Fun New Themes
We have a whole new schedule of themes this year at our Texas campground! Did you know we feature a different theme every week, all year long? We have a ton of free themed activities and a few deluxe add-ons every single weekend!
Spring
Peak wildflower viewing season in our area is Mid-March to Mid-May. Did you know our park grows many different varieties of wildflowers for you to enjoy, when you visit for one of our great Spring themes!
In Spring, look forward to Explore S’more Weekend (March 8th-10th) to kick off Spring Break by traveling the world without leaving the park, and Hoppy Easter Weekend (March 29th-31st) with our massive hunt of more than 10,000 filled Easter Eggs! Our other Spring themes include:

Summer
Already thinking about your Summer getaway? Death By Chocolate Weekend (May 31st – June 2nd) is always a blast, featuring activities like make-your-own-chocolate-bar and Chocolate Pudding Wrestling & Tug of War! Wet & Wild Weekend (June 21st – 23rd), Splashtastic Weekend (July 19th – 21st), and Water Wars Weekend (August 2nd – 4th) will ALL feature our legendary Wet & Wild Wagon Ride, where the entire campground turns into a massive water war! Do not forget to bring your squirt guns and extra hoses for those weekends! These themes are our most popular and will book up quickly, so book your stay right away! Other Summer themes include:

Fall & Winter
In the Fall, you can expect 5 whole weekends of Halloween! (October 4th – November 3rd) Each Halloween weekend includes Hey-Hey-Heyrides, Magic Pumpkins, Site Decorating Contests, Pumpkin Decorating Contests, Costume Contests, Trick-Or-Treating, and so much more! In the winter, we’ll get cozy with our Christmas themed weekends that include holiday crafts and games, Caroling Wagon Rides, and more. View all of our themes and their dates here.
New Ways to Save in Fredericksburg
Locals
Do you live so close that you don’t go camping in Fredericksburg? Last year we introduced out Locals Day promotion: $5 off each day pass for our closest neighbors from Fredericksburg, Stonewall, Hye, and Johnson City. Our local friends told us they loved taking advantage of this phenomenal deal! This year those who live, work, or attend school in our park’s closest communities will get DOUBLE the days to save. Local Days are every Tuesday and Wednesday from May 28th – August 28th! Please present your photo id (or pay stub) at the park when purchasing your passes.
Teachers & First Responders
Educators & First Responders will also have their days in the sun! We want to show our appreciation to those who serve their communities. On Tuesdays & Wednesdays this Summer, we’re offering a $5 discount off each day pass for teachers and first responders, regardless of where they live & work. Please present your proof of employment/volunteer at the park when purchasing your passes.
Youth Groups
We now offer multiple group booking discounts for field trips, youth groups, and non-profits! Whether you’re looking to arrange a day of fun or a weekend of camping in Fredericksburg, local schools, scouting troops, and churches are welcome to reach out to the park directly to discuss your needs and our available discounts!
