Is early check-in available?
It may be available. Please call the Ranger Station to request early check-in prior to your arrival. There is a $25 fee for early check-in.
What time is check-in/out?
Check-in is at 3:00pm. Check-out is at 12:00pm.
What are you located near?
We're surrounded on all sides by the area's top wineries, some within easy walking distance.
Is after-hours check-in available?
To check in after hours, please call before 8:00pm to notify the Ranger Station of your anticipated late arrival. We will prepare your check-in packet and leave it in the after-hours box, located next to the front door of the Ranger Station.
Can tents be put on RV/Cabin sites?
No, tents are only allowed in the designated tent camping area, and there is a limit of one tent per site.
Are pets allowed in tent sites?
No, for the health and safety of our guests and pets, they are not permitted in our tent camping sites.
Can we enter the park prior to check-in or after check-out?
Guests are only permitted use of the camp-resort attractions and amenities during their scheduled stay. To use the amenities prior to check-in or after check-out, guests must purchase day passes, which will grant them access to all attractions between 10am and 6pm.
How many people are allowed per cabin?
This varies based on the floorplan of the cabin. Our cabin models range in capacity from 4 - 8 people.
This is my first time visiting Yogi Bear's Texas Wine Country Jellystone Park™. Is there anything I should know?
We are so excited to have you stay with us! There are a few optional items you can bring along to maximize the fun during your trip. You are welcome to bring bicycles to help you get around our Fredericksburg campground. We also suggest bringing tennis shoes for some quality family hikes and scenic walks. And keep in mind that while we do offer plenty of activities here at our Texas campground, there are many local attractions that your family may enjoy as well. How do I use my Club Yogi™ Rewards Program?

How far in advance should I make my reservation?
We recommend booking at least 6 months in advance of the desired arrival date, as our Camp-Resort will fill up quickly! We book reservations up to 360 days in advance!
How far out can I reschedule my reservation?
If your reservation is for a cabin, ANY and ALL changes must be made at least 3 weeks before your original arrival date. For RV site reservations, ANY and ALL changes to your reservation must be made at least 2 weeks before your original arrival date.
Who can make changes to my reservation?
Only the person whose name the reservation is under may request changes to the reservation unless consent has been given and is documented in the reservation.
Can I tour you Camp-Resort before I book?
We are more than happy to show off our Texas campground but please schedule a visit in advance by giving us a call or sending us an email!
Do you have Wi-Fi?
Yes, we have free Wi-Fi throughout our Fredericksburg, TX campground – speeds will vary. We do ask that you refrain from steaming videos, as it tends to slow down the speed for everyone.
Do you have quiet hours?
We do! Quiet hours are from 11PM – 7AM daily. All campers must observe quiet hours by regulating their activities so that others will not be disturbed.

How far is your Texas campground from Huston?
Lucky for you, we offer some of the best camping near Houston, because our Camp-Resort is located only a few hours away. We also offer some of the best RV camping and cabin rentals near Houston, with 15+ accommodation types!
I have a voucher/ points I want to put towards my reservation, how or when do I do that?
You will need to log into your Club Yogi™ Rewards account and request a certificate. You will need to present the certificate at check-in to be verified by the staff and credited to your reservation.
Is there an on-site restaurant?
Yes, we have onsite food options like our Pic-A-Nic Basket pavilion, Catering, and our Camp Store. Take a look at all our menus on the On-Site Dining page.
We are looking to experience Texas glamping at its finest. What accommodations do you recommend?
Great choice! We offer the best glamping in Texas and have luxury cabins types, plus accommodations that can sleep up to 8 people. Cabin amenities include full bathrooms, kitchens, private bedrooms, and more!
Do you offer any discounts?
Yes! We want to show our appreciation for all active duty and retired military service men and women, first responders, and teachers by offering 10% off during weekday stays (Sunday - Thursday) – all season long!
What are your seasonal dates and how does that impact what attractions are available during my stay?
Our Camp-Resort dates and availability of attractions vary throughout the season. During non-peak season, some attractions are only available during the weekends.
What is the Ranger Station?
You can stock up on groceries, firewood, ice, and Yogi Bear™ souvenirs for the whole family in our air conditioned Ranger Station.
What is the speed limit?
The speed limit throughout the Camp-Resort is 7.5 MPH. We realize that this is ridiculous. If you do not feel that you are driving ridiculously slow, then you are driving too fast.
Are campfires allowed at your Texas campground?
You bet, unless there is a burn ban. Please confine them to provided fire rings and do not leave them unattended. Firewood may not be brought into the Camp-Resort from an external location as it can spread bugs and pests to our beautiful trees. Firewood is available for purchase at the Ranger Station.
